Contrary to popular belief, the Great Work or Magus Opus is not an alchemical treaty on the transformation of lead into gold as the world at large would believe. The ancient alchemical texts detailing this transmutation, for the most part, has always been vague, somewhat of a mystery, and more than a bit confusing in explanation of the actual act of sublimination and rebirth of the individual. ​​ 

Could the transmutation process of alchemy actually have to do with not only the formation of the mind of man as the material universe, but the "Beast" as the "demiurge", formed via the appropriation of consciousness from atomized (annihilated) genetic material contained within the hermetic seed of life?

The squared flower of life, seen at right, is shown in the video clip below.  Throughout the video they do not mention its presence or its importance at all.  They do speak on the mosaic of the two fishes and the importance of it as relating to Jesus feeding a multitude with two fishes.

As the various mythologies of different cultures world-wide reveal, the beginning of their creations start with a condition that first exists as khaos.  Chaos (or khaos) is defined as formless primordial space, the disordered state of uniform matter and infinite space supposed in some cosmogonic views to have existed before the ordered universe; a great disorder or confusion, also an abyss; a chasm [now obsolete].  In the American Heritage Dictionary, the word abyss is rendered as the primeval chaos out of which it was believed the earth and sky were formed; the abode of evil spirits, hell.  Could this be a product built into the mind as part of the material universe?
